Why I made Politalks
Every day, politics is alienating more and more citizens with extremism. The worst voices are often the loudest, and moderation and nuance have all but vanished. Disinformation is rampant, and both sides rely heavily on believing they have a silent majority behind them. This website aims to amend all of that, with pointed and regulated discussion, community polling, and a design that no longer rewards absurdity to drive engagement. Whether you'd like to help moderate discussions, cleanse disinformation, engage in polls, or just find out news from a trustworthy source, this site is for you.
